Futures Point to Higher Open

Potash, Toromont in Focus


Canada's main stock index futures indicated a higher open as oil prices rose after comments by the Saudi energy minister that the market is heading towards a balance despite signs of slowing demand in Asia.

The S&P/TSX Composite gained 27.8 points Thursday to close a short week at 14,064.54.
