Wall Street stock indexes looked set to open higher on Monday, tracking Asian and European markets, after the better-than-expected U.S. non-farm jobs number on Friday.
Ahead of the opening bell, futures for the Dow Jones Industrials gained 20 points or 0.1%, to 18,474, while futures for the S&P 500 hiked 2.5 points, or 0.1%, at 2,179.25. NASDAQ futures took on 8.25 points, or 0.2%, to 4,791.25
No major economic data is due from the U.S. on Monday. The heavy part of earnings season is behind investors, but Dean Foods, Sotheby's and News Corp posted quarterly results on Monday.
