12:06 PM EST - Golf Town Inc. : units jumped more than 20 percent on Monday after one of Canada's largest pension funds said it planned to buy the specialty sporting goods store. OMERS Capital Partners, an arm of the Ontario Municipal Employees Pension Fund, said it planned to buy all of the outstanding units of Golf Town for $17.15 on a fully diluted basis. Once the units are acquired, the fund intends to take the company private. Golf Town Inc.
