09:50 AM EST - Aber Diamond Corp. : reported a 41% year-over-year decline in its second quarter earnings to $20.1 million US, or $.34 per share US from $34.3 million, or $0.59 per share US in the year ago second quarter. On a positive note, second quarter sales jumped to $173.3 million US from $140 million US. The earnings decline was attributed by the company to the strong Canadian dollar.
shares T.ABZ are trading up 13 cents at $38.35.
