11:51 AM EST - Bank of Nova Scotia : said on Tuesday it planned to buy the banking unit of DundeeWealth Inc. and an interest in the parent company in a combined transaction worth C$608 million. Scotiabank will purchase Dundee Bank of Canada for $260 million in cash. Additionally, it will acquire 27.3 million shares of DundeeWealth priced at $12.76 per share for $348 million, giving it 18 percent equity ownership in DundeeWealth Inc. Bank of Nova Scotia
