03:13 PM EST - Excellon Resources Inc. : reported April 2012 production and final drill results from the recently completed 2012 winter drill campaign on its wholly-owned Beschefer Project, located in northwestern Quebec. On the La Platosa property, silver production totaled 143,341 ounces (April 2011 - 175,512 ounces), which brought year-to-date production for the four months to 579,692 ounces (April 30, 2011 - 377,589 ounces). These results are preliminary and subject to adjustment upon final settlement with the purchaser. On the Beschefer property, highlights of recently received results include an intercept of 10.35 grams per tonne ("gpt") Au over 1.50 metres ("m") and 3.56 gpt Au over 6.06 m in drill hole BE12-030.
