10:03 AM EST - Aquila Resources Inc. : announced the Company has completed the previously announced diamond drilling program on its Bend copper-gold deposit in Taylor County, Wisconsin located 35 miles (about 60 kilometres) southeast of the former producing Flambeau mine. A total of 5,800 metres were drilled in 12 core holes during the winter program. Results from the initial six holes have revealed multiple intercepts of high-grade copper and gold mineralization , including 2.66 metres of 2.85% copper in B12-01 and 6.29 metres of 4.26 g/t gold in B12-03. The program also identified broad zones of consistent lower grade mineralization potentially amenable to bulk, underground mining methods, including 13.26 metres of 0.70 g/t gold and 1.5% copper and 74.5 metres of 1.04 g/t gold in B12-04.
