03:49 PM EST - Garda World Security Corporation : announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement pursuant to which a consortium formed by Stephan Cretier, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Garda, and a subsidiary of funds advised by Apax Partners, a global private equity firm, have agreed to acquire Garda for $1.1 billion in cash, including assumed debt.
