Aberdeen's Shareholders' Equity (or Net Asset Value, "NAV") was $71.3 million, or $0.82 per share. Aberdeen's shareholders' equity decreased by $7.9 million from $79.2 million at the end of Q1 2013. The decrease in shareholders' equity was due to the performance of Aberdeen's equity investment portfolio in the second quarter, which decreased $6.3 million or 11.3% to $49.2 million.
