01:29 PM EST - Stelco : shareholders have formally approved a takeover by U.S. Steel at the Canadian steelmaker's last meeting as an independent company. Eighty-eight per cent of shares were voted, with 99.99 per cent of those voted in favour of the US$1.1-billion deal. Stelco
shares T.STE are trading up 3 cents at $38.41.
