10:16 AM EST - Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers Inc. : said its third-quarter earnings jumped to US$14.9 million from $9.7 million, boosted in part by higher sales. The Vancouver-based company said that amounted to earnings of 42 cents per diluted share on sales of US$59 million, compared with 28 cents per share on sales of $47.6 million in the same period last year last year.
