10:34 AM EST - Rogers Communications Inc. : has reported a 75 per cent rise in third-quarter earnings to $269 million on a 13 per cent increase in operating revenue to $2.61 billion. Consolidated revenue was up from $2.31 billion in the year-ago period., and operating profit grew 26 per cent to $986 million. The $269 million in net income, worth 42 cents per share, compared with $154 million, 24 cents per share, a year earlier. Rogers Communications Inc.
