10:36 AM EST - Agrium Inc. : has reported third-quarter net income of US$51 million, reviving from $1 million in a weak year-ago quarter, and said Thursday it expects 2007 to be its most profitable year ever. The company said its July-September sales were $1.04 billion, up 20 per cent from $869 million a year ago. Net income was 38 cents per share, up from one cent in last year's summer quarter, which was depressed by potash operating problems, slack markets in the United States and losses at Agrium's then recently acquired Royster Clark U.S. business. Earnings in the third quarter of 2005 were $72 million. Agrium Inc.
