Despite the collapse in natural gas prices during 2012, funds flow for the year totaled $644 million ($3.29 per share), up 12% from 2011 due to higher oil production, improved netbacks as well as gains from the company’s hedging program. As a result, Enerplus ended 2012 in a strong financial position with a debt to trailing 12-month funds flow ratio of 1.7 times, virtually unchanged from 2011.
