11:48 AM EST - Banro Corporation : said a delay in the delivery of plant components due to road damage caused by unseasonably heavy rains in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has deferred its first scheduled gold production at Namoya until Q3 2013. The cost of the road repairs, additional transport and construction overheads are estimated to result in a cost overrun of up to 15% on the base cost of $185 million U.S. The company also announced that its president and CEO, Simon Village, has stepped down effective immediately.
