01:15 PM EST - Enbridge Inc. : said lower earnings at U.S. processing operations coupled with a faltering American dollar slashed third-quarter net profits by 18 percent. The Calgary-based energy giant reported Wednesday it earned $78.1 million, 22 cents a share, for the three months ended Sept. 30, down from $95.5 million or 28 cents per shares for the same 2006 period. Enbridge Inc.
shares T.ENB are trading down 93 cents at $39.83.
