05:17 PM EST - Goldcorp Inc. : earned a third-quarter profit of US$75.8 million as higher costs at its mines in Ontario from strength in the Canadian dollar and shipping delays in Argentina cut into earnings. The Vancouver-based miner said the profit amounted to 11 cents per share for the three months ended Sept. 30, up from US$59.5 million or 14 cents per share a year ago. Revenues during the quarter were $524 million compared with $404.3 million in the comparable period of 2006. Goldcorp Inc.
shares T.G are trading down 86 cents at $32.82.
