01:16 PM EST - Victhom Human Bionics Inc. : posted a $2.28-million third-quarter loss and lower revenues. Revenues for the third quarter ended Sept. 30 slid 22 per cent to $582,600 from $756,400 in the same period of 2006, when the company had a net loss of loss of $2.32 million. The company said the lower revenue was mainly related to lower advance royalty payments from Ossur, its orthotics and prosthetics market partner. Research and development expenses rose to $2.14 million from $2.07 million on growing costs for the clinical trial of Neurostep, its closed-loop peripheral nerve-sensing and nerve-stimulating medical device.
