12:46 PM EST - Iamgold Corp. : says its third-quarter profit jumped 45 percent to US$19.5 million and revenue soared 159 percent as its acquisition activities paid off. Earnings for the quarter ended Sept. 30 amounted to seven cents a diluted share and compared with US$13.4 million or eight cents a share a year ago, when there were fewer shares outstanding. shares T.IMG are trading up 29 cents at $8.67.
