09:53 AM EST - Lake Shore Gold Corporation : produced a record 30,800 ounces of gold in the second quarter of 2013 from its Timmins West and Bell Creek mines near Timmins, Ontario, marking a 26% increase from the second quarter of 2012. Supported by strong second quarter results, and continued progress with its growth projects, Lake Shore said it remains committed to achieving its key guidance for the year. That includes producing 120,000 to 135,000 ounces of gold at a cash operating cost of $800 to $875 U.S. an ounce, at an average price of $1,409 U.S. Lake Shore Gold Corporation.
