04:45 PM EST - Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. : reported a 27 percent drop in second-quarter profit to US$54.2 million as the profit margins on gasoline sold at its U.S. outlets dropped from sky-high levels last year. The Montreal-based company said the profit amounted to 26 cents US per share in the 12-weeks ended Oct. 14, versus a year-ago profit US$74.7 million or 36 cents US. Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc.
shares T.ATD.B are trading down 22 cents at $17.63.
