04:22 PM EST - Forzani Group Ltd. : plans to acquire Toronto-based Athletes World Ltd., a national chain of 138 stores which is restructuring under bankruptcy protection. Calgary-based Forzani says it has submitted a bid that has been approved by Athletes World. Financial terms were not disclosed. Forzani Group Ltd.
shares T.FGL are trading up 85 cents at $14.73.
