01:25 PM EST - Metro Inc. : says The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co., or A&P, has sold its 11.7 million Metro shares to finance a previously announced acquisition. A&P sold the shares, acquired in 2005 with the sale of A&P Canada to Metro, to finance its acquisition of Pathmark Stores Inc. Metro Inc.
shares T.MRU.A are trading up 97 cents at $28.04.
