04:41 PM EST - Quebecor World Inc. : signalled that it is unlikely to find a short-term solution to its financial woes when it announced the suspension of dividend payments on its preferred shares. With the payments of its Series 3 and 5 shares put on hold, the Quebecor Inc. subsidiary also said it will ask shareholders to approve a reduction of stated capital through an equity reclassification at its annual meeting in May, which would allow it to resume paying dividends.
