10:18 AM EST - Domtar Inc. : has swung to a third-quarter profit of $38 million, from a year-earlier loss of $52 million, and is eyeing gains from the settlement of the Canada-U.S. softwood lumber dispute. Earnings for the quarter ended Sept. 30 amounted to 16 cents a share, contrasting with a loss of 23 cents per share, the restructuring Montreal-based company reported Tuesday. On average, analysts had been forecasting earnings of eight cents per share, before one-time items, according to Thomson financial. Domtar Inc.
