09:48 AM EST - Detour Gold Corp. : on Monday reported assays results from drilling on its Detour Lake property, which is located about 185 kilometres northeast of Cochrane, Ontario. The project is situated in the same area as the former Detour Lake mine that was operated by Placer Dome and produced 1.8 million ounces of gold from 1983 to 1999. The company said the latest results are from drilling on the eastern part of the Lower Detour Deformation Zone, which is located on the southeast part of the Detour Lake property. During the first quarter, the company completed 25,067 metres in 74 holes. Detour Gold Corp.
shares T.DGC are trading down $0.60 at $10.53.
