12:04 PM EST - TransCanada Corp. : saw third-quarter net profits fall to $293 million from $427 million in the same quarter a year earlier, although accounting for one-time items its earnings moved ahead of last year's by $9 million. TransCanada's net earnings amounted to 60 cents per diluted share compared with 87 cents in the year-ago period. Total revenues grew to $1.85 billion from a year-earlier $1.5 billion.
