09:55 AM EST - Titan Medical Inc. : announced today that it successfully completed animal tissue studies on May 30, performing a full cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal) procedure using the SPORT Surgical System alpha commercial prototype for the required surgical tasks (including grasping, dissecting, mono-polar cautery and suturing).
