10:05 AM EST - Corus Entertainment Inc. : reported a 7 percent jump in its first-quarter profit on Wednesday, and said it planned to boost its annual dividend by 20 percent, because of revenue growth in its broadcasting businesses. The firm said it earned $39.4 million, or 91 cents a share in the quarter, up from $36.7 million, or 85 cents a share in the year-earlier period. Revenue for quarter ended November 30 was $214.8 million, up 3 percent from $209.2 million last year. Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.02 a share before one-time items on revenue of $222.7 million. Corus Entertainment Inc.
