03:15 PM EST - Pinetree Capital Ltd. : announced that, on June 27, it completed its acquisition of a 25% interest (40% partially diluted) in Sviral, Inc., through the purchase of 10 million shares of Series B Preference Stock and 10 million Series B Preferred Stock warrants of Sviral. As consideration for the $5,000,000 U.S. purchase price for the securities, Pinetree paid $500,000 U.S. in cash and issued 10,975,610 common shares to Sviral, representing approximately 6.2% of the total number of Pinetree's common shares outstanding prior to the closing date.
