03:47 PM EST - Paris Energy Inc. : and Mapan Energy Ltd., a private company founded by Richard A. Walls, are pleased to announce that they have entered into an arrangement agreement whereby Paris will acquire all of the issued and outstanding shares of Mapan pursuant to a plan of arrangement under the Business Corporations Act (Alberta) on the basis of 12 common shares of Paris for each one common share of Mapan, following which, management of Mapan will become management of Paris and the board of directors of Paris will be reconstituted to be comprised of directors nominated by Mapan.
