Net sales in the third quarter amounted to $693.8 million U.S., up 12.9% from $614.3 million U.S. in the third quarter of fiscal 2013. The Company had projected net sales for the quarter to be close to $700 million U.S. Net earnings in the third quarter of fiscal 2014 were $116.0 million U.S. or $0.94 U.S. per share on a diluted basis, compared with net earnings of $115.8 million U.S. or $0.94 U.S. per share for the third quarter of fiscal 2013.
