12:02 PM EST - Manulife Financial Corp. : said net income climbed 4 percent in the fourth quarter on higher fee income in its wealth management business and strong investment performance, the insurance company said on Thursday. Canada's largest life insurer said net income was $1.14 billion, or 75 cents a share, in the three months ended December 31. That compares with earnings of $1.10 billion, or 70 cents a share, a year earlier. Manulife Financial Corp.
