09:51 AM EST - Kombat Copper Inc. : is continuing its 2,000-metre surface drill program at the Kombat Mine property. To date, a total of 17 holes have been completed and core logging and sampling are ongoing. Samples from the initial five holes, as well as trench and underground samples, have been sent to a commercial laboratory for assay with initial results expected in a few weeks' time. The program is designed to renewed focus on defining a near-surface mineral resource to support an open pit mining scenario that would allow the Company to fast track to production.
