10:40 AM EST - Sherritt International Corp. : increased its 2007 net earnings by half to $370 million, enjoying its best-ever year on strong results from its metals, oil and gas, coal, and power generation businesses. Revenue for the year was $1.34 billion, up from $1.11 billion in 2006, and earnings per share grew to $1.79 from $1.42, Sherritt reported Thursday. Sherritt International Corp.
