10:43 AM EST - Great Plains Exploration Inc. : and RedStar Oil & Gas Inc. announced that they have entered into a Pre-Acquisition Agreement, pursuant to which Great Plains will make an offer to acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of RedStar by way of a take-over bid. Pursuant to the contemplated Offer, Great Plains will acquire all of the RedStar shares in consideration for the issuance of 0.9 Great Plains shares for each RedStar share held.
