12:09 PM EST - Quest Capital Corp. : a mortgage investment corporation on Monday reported a fall in its fourth quarter earnings compared to the same period last year, due to provision for taxes. The company announced the resignation of CFO, Narinder Nagra, and outlined its dividend policy for fiscal 2008. Net earnings decreased by $20.0 million to $23.7 million or $0.16 per share in 2007 from $43.7 million or $0.31 per share reported last year, primarily as a result of accounting for taxes, a largely non-cash item. Earnings before income taxes was $36.0 million in 2007 compared to $37.0 million in 2006, despite recording non-recurring expenses of about $2.0 million in 2007. Quest Capital Corp.
