11:21 AM EST - Barrick Gold Corp. : the Toronto-based gold giant has extended its $60.1-million buyout bid for Pioneer Metals Corp., after acquiring 98 per cent of the company's shares by a Thursday deadline. Barrick has now has now taken up about 59.1 million shares of Pioneer out of 60.1 million. Barrick Gold Corp.
T.ABX are trading off 41 cents at $33.55.
