12:06 PM EST - Compton Petroleum Corp. : reported a first-quarter profits to $1.6 million from a year-ago $13.7 million. The natural gas focused producer said Monday it would have earned $17.4 million when accounting for one-time charges, compared with $17.9 million in the year-earlier period. Compton Petroleum Corp.
shares T.CMT are trading up 5 cents at $12.25.
