10:18 AM EST - Cameco Corp. : has reported first-quarter earnings of $133 million, up by 125 percent from a year ago as revenue increased 45 percent to $593 million on higher prices for uranium and gold and an increase in uranium volumes. Cameco said Tuesday that its net income of 37 cents per share compared with $59 million or 17 cents per share in the year-earlier period, when revenue was $409 million. Cameco Corp.
shares T.CCO are trading off 81 cents at $39.47.
