12:17 PM EST - Husky Energy Inc. : is boosting its resource estimate for the White Rose offshore oilfield, saying a recent discovery will encourage more production efforts. CEO John Lau said in a release that completion of the 2006 delineation program has increased the assessment of White Rose's recoverable resources by 190 million barrels. A hydrocarbon discovery was made at the North Amethyst K-15 delineation well, in the southwestern section of the oilfield, estimated to contain a recoverable resource of 40 to 100 million barrels of oil, with a likely estimate of 70 million.
