01:11 PM EST - Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. : reported a higher second-quarter profit on Tuesday, as North America's third-largest convenience store operator benefited from an expanded network of stores. Couche-Tard earned US$74.7 million, or 36 cents a share diluted, in the quarter ended October 15, up from a profit of $55.5 million, or 27 cents a share, a year earlier. The company also said it has increased its quarterly dividend to 3 cents a share from 2.5 cents per share. Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc.
