10:38 AM EST - SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. : said on Thursday it has signed an engineering, procurement and construction contract with state-owned Qatar Petroleum and Hydro Aluminium a.s. worth about $700 million. Construction of the services' area and potroom building of a new aluminum smelter in Mesaieed, Qatar is expected to be completed in late 2009. SNC-Lavalin Group Inc.
