11:24 AM EST - Bombardier Transportation : said on Friday it received an additional $605 million order from the French National Railways (SNCF) to supply 112 high-capacity trains. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in October 2007, Montreal-based Bombardier said Friday. Bombardier will make the Autorail Grande Capacite (AGC) trains at its Crespin plant in France's Valenciennes region. The order follows the selection of Bombardier by SNCF in September 2001 for the supply of 500 high-capacity regional trains. The total number of firmly ordered AGC trains by SNCF is now 612.
