10:14 AM EST - The Jean Coutu Group Inc. : has reported a net loss of $20.2 million for its first quarter ended May 31, compared with a year-ago loss of $6.4 million. Revenue was $574.3 million, down from $3.26 billion in the year-earlier quarter, before Coutu's move in June 2007 to sell its interest in the Brooks and Eckerd drugstore chains in the United States in return for cash and a stake in Rite Aid Corp.
