Second quarter loss was $3.82 million, or $0.08 per diluted share, compared to $3.04 million, or $0.07, in the same quarter a year ago. Research and development expenses increased more than 50% during the quarter. The company also incurred a foreign exchange loss of $236 thousand compared to a gain of $319 thousand in the second quarter of 2007. Arius Research Inc.
