10:45 AM EST - Bombardier Inc. : reported a quarterly profit on Wednesday on higher operating earnings and margins at its plane and train-making units. The company said it earned $74 million, or 4 cents a share, in the third quarter ended October 31, compared with a year-earlier loss of $9 million, or 1 cent a share. Profit from continuing operations was $55 million, or 3 cents a share, compared with $22 million, or 1 cent a share, a year earlier, before exceptional items. Analysts had been expecting Bombardier to earn 3 cents a share in the latest third quarter, according to Reuters Estimates. Bombardier Inc.
