10:40 AM EST - Minco Silver Corp. : said today it has signed a letter of agreement with Sterling Mining Co whereby Minco Silver will acquire 100% of the issued and outstanding shares of Sterling for US$1.58 per share. Upon completion of the transaction, the combined company will have approximately 52 million common shares issued and outstanding, plus options and warrants. The transaction is expected to close by December 2008. Minco Silver Corp.
