04:13 PM EST - Virtek Vision International Inc. : Stockeryale Inc. said on Monday that it has increased its cash offer to acquire Virtek Vision International Inc. to $0.80 per share from its initial offer of $0.65 per share. The revised offer price consists of $0.70 per share to be paid at closing, plus a cash distribution of $0.10 per share within 60 days after StockerYale obtains 100% of the issued and outstanding shares of Virtek. The $0.10 cash distribution per share will be paid to each Virtek shareholder. Stockeryale also said that it has extended the expiry date to August 28 from August 1. Virtek Vision International Inc.
shares T.VRK are trading up 7 cents at $0.65.
