04:42 PM EST - Hemisphere GPS Inc. : reported an increase in profit for the second quarter aided by a 59% rise in revenues over the prior-year period. The Calgary, Alberta-headquartered company reported second quarter net income of $3.2 million or $0.06 per share, compared to $0.2 million or breakeven per share in the same period last year. Revenues for the quarter were $23.0 million, 59% higher than $14.5 million in the second quarter of 2007. Hemisphere GPS Inc.
